Lacoste + Costume Designers Guild

The 16th Costume Designers Guild Awards with presenting sponsor LACOSTE at The Beverly Hilton Hotel was held on February 22, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California. The Guild is a key part of style in every movie we see today and more!

The Costume Designers Guild aspires to raise the stature of the Costume Design profession within the entertainment industry making immeasurable contributions to movies, TV, and commercials. The Costume Designers Guild was founded in 1953 by a group of 30 passionate motion picture Costume Designers who found strength in joining forces, responding to the changing needs of the motion picture industry. Today its membership includes approximately 750 Costume Designers, Commercial Costume Designers/Stylists, Assistant Costume Designers, and Illustrators working throughout the world. With that said, they are the people who help make the visual magic on the screen truly happen!

They are also the reason these two look so good on camera! Two of my favorite actors from Scandal pictured here at the VIP reception.

Meanwhile, this is one of my all time favorite movies! "Coming To America".  When you really stop to think about movies and fashion/costume design, the Costume Designers Guild and LACOSTE, they really do go together like a hand and glove.

Thank you to LACOSTE for sponsoring this event for the 4th time! It was an awesome night of style.
