SouthPark Offers Charlotte Men and Women an Opportunity to Walk the Runway

WHAT: Charlotte-area men and women over the age of 18 will have the opportunity to strut their stuff for the chance to model during a Simon Fashion Now runway show, presented by Land Rover Charlotte, taking place at SouthPark on the evening of Friday, October 22.

Contestants are invited to SouthPark to walk for a panel of judges, including local media personality and blogger T. Strong, the Style Mayvin and Kimberlye Worth, public relations director for Barbizon Modeling & Entertainment Center-Carolinas. The panel will select two lucky winners (one male and one female) to receive the ultimate Model for a Day package including professional hair and makeup services, as well as a custom fitting for his/her runway look. Winners will walk the runway with professional models in the 8:00 p.m. Simon Fashion Now show on October 22.

Additionally, each winner will receive two (2) VIP passes for family and friends to watch his/her runway debut, a $100 Ruth’s Chris Steak House gift card, an exclusive Simon Fashion Now swag bag and a $250 American Express® Simon Giftcard®.

Representatives from Barbizon will be at SouthPark from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM on October 9 to meet with shoppers about modeling opportunities and answer questions about program offerings.
