The Art Institute - Fashion Week

Tuesday, 13 of The Art Institutes’ students and alumni presented their collections to a packed house in The Theatre at Lincoln Center.  The selected designers were chosen by a selection committee of industry experts including John Bartlett, Bonnie Young, Cliodna Egan and Christina Neault, who all sat front row yesterday to cheer them on, as well as Douglas Hannant.

This year’s students included a former marine, carpenter and architect, all of whom switched careers to pursue their true passions at Art Institutes schools. Pictured below in this order: Lauren Barisic, Luis Aponte, Anna Charest, Rei Yamamoto, Christopher Maracha,  Simone Young, Joshuan Aponte, Samuel Ciccone, Ryan Edmonds & German Madrigal, Gustavo Alonso, Lorena Cabrera and Michael Doyle, all earned the extraordinary opportunity to present their collections alongside fashion industry legends for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
