Style Stanged + StyleMayvin Contest

The 50th Anniversary release of the Ford Mustang continues to build more and more excitement for the brand. A few days ago I attend the Mustang Summer Style event with Christos Garkinos, OPI and Lucky Brand. What do these brands and influencers have to do with Ford you ask? Well, as I love to cover all things stylish and Ford completely understands this connection, they gave journalists the opportunity to experience something different. 

To spotlight summer road-trip style, Christos Garkinos, globally recognized celebrity stylist and co-owner of the renowned Decades vintage boutique in LA was on hand to provide style tips and examples on how to get the perfect vintage look this summer. Of course I had to get in on the fun of that and absolutely LOVED the white Prada shades he and I both agreed were perfect for me!

OPI and Ford Motor Company have gone full throttle, taking the “pedi to the metal” with the official launch of the limited-edition nail lacquer collection inspired by the popular Ford Mustang.

Another cool factor for the men in attendance for the Ford Stang Styled event was a shaving experience with The Blind Barber. Also the host location on the lower east side for this event, we were able to see in action what we already knew…everything old has become new again as consumers find comfort and connection in products, brands and experiences that evoke a romantic nostalgia. Just like the Mustang and The Blind Barber!
