Barneys & Prada: The Perfect Combination

Usually around the Holidays is when all of the department store windows begin to get very fashionably creative and light up with all sorts of fabulosity but Prada and Barneys New York decided, why wait? Now's a good a time as any. Right? 

Presenting...scenes from Barneys Madison Avenue windows! Inspired by 20th century avant-guarde theatre and film, I'd say the fall women's and men's collections have been executed perfectly!

Now, if you're like me, you have to wonder...how did they do that? Where do you buy manequins as expressive as those? Well, you don't. Necessity is the mother of invention and when you need special mannequins, simply make them! Here's how the process of models getting "plastered" for body casting goes.
