All Star Weekend - Are You Ready?

Who's ready for NBA All Star Weekend - The NY Edition? We're right on the heels of NYFW and no one is looking more forward to all of the stylish fabulousness that will be floating around the city than I am but guess what? This season the buzz of the city will be kicked up a notch as All Star Weekend begins.

Whether you're a fan of basketball or not, you know that an event like this in NYC will bring out all of the celebs as well as and where there's celebrities, there's also celebrity fashion.  Let the people watching begin!

Just so I could add a bit more crazy to my already jam packed schedule, I've decided to make an appearance or two at some of the ASW parties. So, what's a stylish girl or guy to wear when you need to transition from fashion show mode to party mode? I'm glad you asked. Ladies, you already know this but you can never go wrong with jeans. Tattered looks that not only say you're a stylish type of girl but also says I can party hard with the best of them, are all right on trend.

I'm also loving a pop color short short with all black tights and shoes!  It's a chic look that is sure to win over the street style paparazzi on your way to the next show and also charm even the grumpiest bouncer at the club.

And then there's always something to be said about a girl in black. It's slimming, its chic, it's perfection. When in doubt, go for old faithful.

Now for the guys...there's no reason why you should be making a statement this weekend too! Only the dapper man can rock this look with comfort and ease in any setting. Is this you?

To tone it down a bit all while turning up a notch too, go for something like this. It's a new take on sweatshirt and sneakers plus it transitions well from show hopping to party hopping.

And last but not least...Want to rock some jeans? That's cool too if you're going to a non-dress code venue and they're easy to dress up or down given the look you're going for. Simply change the shoes and/or the jacket and you've got a whole new look!
