The Fashion Net Awards

FASHION NET, which introduced the world of fashion to the Internet when it launched in January 1995, connects premium fashion and luxury brands with millions of influential trendsetters and fashion-savvy consumers each year. As it celebrates the 20th anniversary of its historic launch, FASHION NET is holding another world's first: the online-only FASHION NET Awards.
With 27 wide-ranging industry categories, including “Womenswear Designer of the Year,” “Designer of the Year,” “Brand of the Year,” and “Lifetime Achievement,” four finalists have made the cut in each group, and features some of fashion’s great luminaries such as John Galliano, Phoebe Philo, Riccardo Tisci and Sarah Burton. The full list at

Winners will be announced on September 17th, the last day of NYFW.

"The FASHION NET Awards recognize the exceptional talents of innovators and influencers in fashion as we enter a new era," says Stig Harder, Founder. "An increasingly omnipresent Internet is kindling an entirely new way of interacting with fashion, where changes in trends and tastes come about with the immediacy of a world where eventually nothing is offline."

Presented by QUINTESSENTIALLY and supported by ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY, BLCK INK, GEN ART and ALICE BOW, the FASHION NET Awards is a celebration of excellence and vision in the fashion industry worldwide. The selection of this year’s nominees and winners are made by the FASHION NET Awards Committee, consisting of FASHION NET editors and leading fashion industry professionals.
