My wildest dreams came true when I heard about Gucci’s new makeup line! We all know that beauty is a major part of fashion and this fall launch drives the point home. It was only fitting to find out that this was collaboration with my personal makeup guru; The, Pat McGrath!  

According to Allure, Frida Gianni, Gucci’s creative director paired up with McGrath for Gucci Cosmetics. It combines Fashion, Glamour and Beauty for women who love luxury. They go on to say “Defined by her powerful femininity, the iconic Gucci woman represents the glamour and beauty of the fashion House. Under the creative direction of Frida Giannini, the Gucci woman has evolved with a modern edge, into an icon who is strong, daring and seductive. Completing her aesthetic is Giannini’s long-held vision of a Gucci Cosmetics collection. Gucci Beauty offers a complete line, featuring Gucci Eye, Gucci Face, Gucci’s Lip and Nail Polishes. Complete with a skin care, skin preparation and makeup brush line. Even more good news, the packaging will display the iconic “Double G” design that this classic brand is known for. I’m especially excited to try the “Lustrous Glow Foundation”, anyone familiar with Pat McGrath should know this is something to look forward to! 

I am uber excited to experience the line! When it comes to anything McGrath has her hands on, all that glitters is…in this case, Gucci! 

Prices range from around $30 to $80 and is very comparable to other luxury lines. Gucci Beauty is now available online at Gucci.com as well as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. It will also be available at the following stores: Gucci New York (Fifth Avenue), Gucci Los Angeles (Rodeo Drive), Gucci Las Vegas (Crystals City Center), Gucci Dallas (Northpark), Saks Fifth Avenue New York, Neiman Marcus Las Vegas.
