Ever been to Barcelona? Well whether you have or have not, now is a great time to consider it!

Hotel Arts Barcelona, which is a simply stunning property is joining forces with UNICEF this June to celebrate its 20th anniversary with “Estrellas Solidarias” - a night with Spain’s greatest gastronomic stars - with a combined 52 Michelin stars between them.

Led by acclaimed chef Paco Perez of the hotel’s own two Michelin starred Enoteca restaurant, Thursday, June 12th will see the hottest chefs in the Spain coming together to prepare a tapas feast in the gardens of the hotel. Now, if you're a foodie like I am, you've gotta be very excited by that!

Globally respected names including Albert Adria, Joan Roca, Adoni Aduriz, and Marc Gascons will each cook a favorite tapas dish from a cooking station for guests to try in the hotel’s beautiful gardens, next to the iconic Frank Gehry “Peix” sculpture. Proceeds will go to UNICEF Spain, one of Hotel Arts Barcelona’s key long-term partners in its Community Footprint actions.

This celebration of Spain’s gastronomic excellence will begin with a drinks reception serving Cava and Catalan wines courtesy of Castillo Perelada, where guests will have the opportunity to bid in the auction for a Chef Whites, signed by all chefs in attendance and with proceeds donated to UNICEF. Following the auction, guests will journey from stand to stand, meeting the acclaimed chefs and sampling the delicious flavors of Spain cooked before their eyes. There will be live music and the event will finish with a spectacular dessert creation by Hotel Arts Barcelona pastry chef Sylvain Guyez.

For those that want to celebrate with the hotel and experience this unique event, Hotel Arts has created an “Exclusive Experience” package for the Royale and Presidential suites - the hotel’s most prestigious apartments located on the 42nd floor. In addition to tickets to the UNICEF gala event, the package also includes behind the scenes access, interacting with the chefs as they prepare their signature dish, as well as preferred reservation and VIP access for one year in the restaurants of Albert Adria and Paco Perez. Bridal Bliss

If you didn't already know, you should be able to look around and see that it is most certainly wedding season. From runways to the blessed wedding day isle ways, I have been completely consumed with weddings. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I recently celebrated my own 20th Wedding Anniversary...I don't know, but what I do know is, wedding bliss is definitely in the air.

British Socialite and model, Poppy Delevingne walked down the isle in England for the second time wearing a beautiful, bohemian inspired, Emilio Pucci wedding gown.

I love when Bride's dare to do something different on their special day. Especially when it suits their personality perfectly.

There's no way I could ever overlook the beautiful, classic creations by some of the world's finest designers showcased during Spring 2015 Bridal Week. Here's a look at my top choices.

Carolina Herrera

Monique Lhuillier

Naeem Khan

Reem Acra

Vera Wang

Once you have your rings and your dress, I know that one of the more challenging tasks in wedding planning is finding the perfect location. Ever thought about Rhode Island? Well I know of a place fit for a Queen and now they've made it even more exclusive.

Castle Hill Inn, the iconic New England wedding destination and elegant Relais & Chateaux property, has just released an exclusive wedding weekend experience, offering couples the opportunity to take over 40 private acres of the pristine waterfront estate for three days. Guests will enjoy luxurious boutique accommodations, delectable dining options, superior amenities, an itinerary of exciting activities, personalized service and world-class wedding planners making Castle Hill Inn a magnificent playground for celebrating nuptuals with family and friends.

Then there's a two hour cocktail reception, followed by a sunset cruise on a yacht and ends with a relaxing fireside with tasty s’mores and cocktails.

Day 2 started interested guests off with a calming power yoga instruction and exploring the many attractions around Newport. Plus a farm to table breakfast and classic Tea Time all before the ceremony. The ceremony itself will be breathtaking as the couples will say their ‘I Do’s’ on the romantic outdoor Chalet Lawn, which offers breathtaking views just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, making it the finest location for magical weddings. Post about a three course meal and dancing the night away in the Chalet Terrace?

Day 3 Following an exciting wedding night, the newlyweds will enjoy a casual picnic breakfast with their guests, served near the iconic Castle Hill Lighthouse located on a coastal ledge. Following the picnic, guests will unwind from the festivities and enjoy enjoy a relaxing day of sunbathing and volleyball on the private beach. A New England inspired barbecue lunch will be served on the beach before farewells are shared and guests depart.

Does that not sound amazing? From the dress to the venue, why not have the most fabulous experience ever!

For those of us who know and love the works of Alexander McQueen, this is sure to bring an enormous level of fashion excitement to your day!

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London recently announced that it will present Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in London in spring 2015.

Jeremy Scott + Moschino

There's one thing that I find so hard to do...getting rid of items in my closet. Whether it's shoes, bags or clothes, I just truly have a hard time parting with my things. Meanwhile, my friends and family could snag something and I rarely even notice. My Moschino jeans are not one of those things. I like to call them "vintage" because they are not skinny's and my teenage nieces don't even remember when there was a time pre skinny's. Moschino has always been one of my favorite brands so maybe I'll repurpose those jeans into maybe a boyfriend style since I love them so much and wear them once again.

Fast forward to now...

Jeremy Scott for Moschino has finally arrived! Highly anticipated since he debuted his first Moschino collection in Milan during Fall/Winter 2014 Fashion Week, we finally get the first glance at a typical to his quirky style, oversized tee.

Simply because I am a fool for all things black and white, this dress and backpack also caught me eye. And yes, I am totally brave enough to wear a cow printed dress.

Check out all of these styles and more HERE.  Shop now.

2014 Lexus IS 350 - AutomotiveSTYLE

What's not to love about the Lexus IS 350? If you're a Lexus fan and want a luxury car but need the extra room of a sedan, this car is definitely the way to go.

Aside from the fact that it's a gorgeous car, (I had it in midnight favorite color) the IS 350 is a joy to drive. It is, along with it's brother - the IS F Sport, the first Lexus vehicles to vary shifting with G-forces. What does that mean? Well, let's just say it equals exhilarating drive performance of the vehicles when entering a curve and when accelerating. Yeah...its pretty fast. Of course, my readers know that I love to drive. Probably faster than I should be when a car is this fun to drive and looks this good, how could I resist.

The design and color of the car reminded me of a couple of dresses I loved from the Fall 2014 Zac Posen collection. Sleek, elegant and beautiful.

The bold design of the IS headlamps can't help but attract attention. Except in this case. To help provide added visibility for drivers, even those not in an IS, available intelligent high-beam headlamps offer added illumination when the road ahead is clear and temporarily switch to low-beam when they sense another vehicle ahead. How awesome is that?!?

Other great features I love:
  • 306 horsepower
  • 0-60 in 5.6 seconds (Don't judge me...I said I like to drive fast!)
  • 28 MPG rating (Highway)
  • Eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission
  • 60/40-split folding rear seat
  • Perforated NuLuxe interior trim
And simply because I enjoy a good opportunity to color coordinate, imagine stepping out of the Lexus IS 350 in these Jimmy Choo's...priceless.

Style Stanged + StyleMayvin Contest

The 50th Anniversary release of the Ford Mustang continues to build more and more excitement for the brand. A few days ago I attend the Mustang Summer Style event with Christos Garkinos, OPI and Lucky Brand. What do these brands and influencers have to do with Ford you ask? Well, as I love to cover all things stylish and Ford completely understands this connection, they gave journalists the opportunity to experience something different.

To spotlight summer road-trip style, Christos Garkinos, globally recognized celebrity stylist and co-owner of the renowned Decades vintage boutique in LA was on hand to provide style tips and examples on how to get the perfect vintage look this summer. Of course I had to get in on the fun of that and absolutely LOVED the white Prada shades he and I both agreed were perfect for me!

OPI and Ford Motor Company have gone full throttle, taking the “pedi to the metal” with the official launch of the limited-edition nail lacquer collection inspired by the popular Ford Mustang.

The OPI Ford Mustang collection features six Mustang-inspired shades (the white is my favorite!) that are set to hit U.S. stores in July but guess what readers? You don’t have to wait! I’ve got a Pony Pack to give away especially for you! All you need to do to ENTER TO WIN is Tweet, Facebook or Instagram me, @stylemayvin and comment “I wanna get #StangStyled with #StyleMayvin”. Enter today! The winner will be chosen May 31, 2014!

Another cool factor for the men in attendance for the Ford Stang Styled event was a shaving experience with The Blind Barber. Also the host location on the lower east side for this event, we were able to see in action what we already knew…everything old has become new again as consumers find comfort and connection in products, brands and experiences that evoke a romantic nostalgia. Just like the Mustang and The Blind Barber!

So as usual, a great time was had by all who attended the "Stang Styled” event but be sure to stay tuned for an even more exciting contest announcement where you can enter to WIN a brand new 2015 Mustang! Yeah…I totally planning to enter that one myself! Stay in the KNOW with StyleMayvin!

Klub Nico

The very first time I laid eyes on these Klub Nico shoes, I instantly fell in love. Aside from the fact that Brazil seems to have some of the most amazing and creative footwear designers I’ve ever seen, this particular pair, the Kassie Skin, intrigued me because of the attention to detail taken to make it a truly special piece.

Creatively designed with a slight inset wedge, leather upper and rubber sole, it is one of the more comfortable yet stylish shoes I’ve had the privilege to add to my footwear arsenal. Made with a unique laser cut design which is right on if not above trend right now, it complements and completes any look.

This shoe has truly been a life saver during the weather transitional period from what seemed like the longest winter ever on the east coast to the final and very welcomed arrival of Spring. So with that, there is no reason why you should have a pair of your own!  These my dear, are mine! Check them out at

Meanwhile, I’m excited to preview the new Spring 2015 collection next month during the FFANY show and you know I’ll keep my readers in the know sharing their latest looks!
